Intermediate Wheel Throwing is a 6-week course is designed to help you work more advanced skills on the pottery wheel once you are comfortable centering and raising walls . Emphasis will be on challenging and refining your technique, throwing with intention, trying more advanced skills, and creating pots that look more polished.
 
Throughout this course, you will be provided expert demonstrations and personalized attention to help you continue to develop your pottery skills.
 
Please note enrolling students must know how to center at least 2  lbs of clay, raise walls and create cylinders with confidence. 
 
This class includes: up to 25 pounds of clay, access to our studio glazes and slips, and unlimited access to our studio during open studio hours.
 
Please bring your favorite tools, an apron if you wear one, and a hand towel. 
 
Open to people 18 and up.
 
Refund and cancellation policy:
Session classes require a 10 day notice before class begins for a refund, minus a 5% processing fee that we cannot recover.
No refunds will be given after class begins.
For classes with a waitlist, we will refund you up to 24 hours before class if we can fill your spot, but this is not guaranteed.
In this case there will be a 15% cancellation fee to cover our time.
