Get your hands in clay during a fun evening as our Vallejo Clay instructor takes you on a 2-hour hands-on tour of pottery making. No prior experience needed! Grab a seat for yourself, or grab multiple seats for a friend, partner or group! We provide all the tools and clay you will need.
 
Our evening will start with an introductory lesson on the wheel where we will teach you the basics of making a low bowl and cup or vessel through demonstration and hands-on guidance. Participants will get to feel the sensation of spinning clay under their hands and try forming a pot. You will arrive to a wheel with clay already centered, so the hard part is already done for you! You get to try the exciting part-- forming a pot out of a lump of clay.
 
We will then move to the handbuilding table where we will relax a bit, and you will be given a fresh chunk of clay to play with as you please. Pinch a small bowl, roll out a slab to make a vase, our instructor will expertly guide you along and help you finish a functional or sculptural piece.
 
Bring your favorite beverage and we will have some snacks.
 
We will take your creations, glaze them and fire it for you, and it will be ready to pick up in about 4 weeks.
