In this workshop, Diana will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a unique, one of a kind, ornate candle holder from start to finish. You will learn how to hand roll coils that are shaped, cut, and assembled to build the candelabra frame. From there, Diana will show you how to add simple and stamped baubles and decorative details that give each piece its own character. 
 
All levels are welcome, this is a great class to improve your handbuilding skills.
 
The studio will provide enough clay for one project and nichrome wire.
 
Option to fire one finished piece at the studio, there is an oversized fee of $5 for any item over 8 inches. Limited to 10 inches max.
 
PLEASE BRING:
Candlestick- Choose a standard size that you’d like your candelabra to hold.
Rubber Rib (Mud Tools Red Rib is Diana's favorite).
Fettling knife or Exacto knife
Small ½” soft bristle paint brush 
Scoring tool- (If you don’t have one your exacto/fettling knife will work too).
Wood knife or blending tool (round chopsticks are a good stand-in if you don’t have a wood blending tool).
OPTIONAL:
Wire cutters- Diana uses a small jewelers pair.
Needle nose pliers - Also a small jewelers pair is best.

Refund and cancellation policy: Workshops require a 10 day notice for a refund minus $25 for processing fees that we cannot recover. For workshops with a waitlist, we will refund you up to 24 hours before class if we can fill your seat.
