About the exhibition
Cost:
$45: Comes with tools, clay, firing, and live instruction along with a link to watch an instruction video. There is also an additional $25 deposit on your toolkit, which will be refunded when you return your kit. Borrowing a toolkit is optional, see toolkit list below.
$20: Instruction only, students provide their own tools, clay, and firing. (Tool and supplies list below)
There is nothing like drinking out of a handmade cup, especially when the hands who made it are yours! Students will be led through a demonstration on how to create a cup with a handle using clay slabs and a template. Participants will be given enough clay to make two mugs. Cups will then be fired with a glaze of the student's choice and be ready for pickup within two weeks.
