Cost: 

$35: Comes with tools, clay, firing, and live instruction along with a link to watch an instruction video. There is also an additional $25 deposit on your toolkit, which will be refunded when you return your kit. Borrowing a toolkit is optional, see toolkit list below.

$20: Instruction only, students provide their own tools, clay, and firing. (Tool and supplies list below)

Remember making pinch pots in school? Pinching clay is the oldest and most fundamental way of making pottery, and can be used as a taking off point for making more complex forms. In this class we will be making pinch pots to create a "clay bubble" that can then be formed into a small vase. This is a very fun way of creating unusual, modern, and one-of-a-kind vases. Participants will be given enough clay to make two vases.

Don't have any experience with clay? Don't worry! This class is good for beginners and more experienced potters alike.

All tools and clay will be supplied, just be ready to get your hands dirty!

Class open to all ages, it is reccommended that people under the age of 10 have an adult on hand for assistance.

Students will need to pick up their tools and supplies before class, and drop off their projects and tools at the studio by the following Saturday. You can opt for delivery and pickup for an additional fee (Vallejo, American Canyon, and  Benicia only.)
