Handmade at Home: Creating everyday functional objects
October 7- November 11
6:30-7:30 PM
In this class we will explore hand building with clay from home using pinching, coil building, and clay slabs. We will be focusing on creating everyday objects out of clay such as bowls, cups, plates, vases, and planters. Each class includes on-line demonstrations and will address issues of design, construction, and function. We will also cover some basic surface decoration techniques.
This class is appropriate for beginners and more advanced students alike!
