Mugapalooza is a one-day celebration of our favorite handmade object: THE MUG! They are functional, expressive, collectible, and they make drinking coffee just a little bit more enjoyable.
 
Join us for an afternoon of making mugs, watching other people making mugs, shopping for mugs,  and possibly winning a mug in our raffle! 
 
Schedule of Events:
1–4 PM — Mug Sale
Browse a wide selection of handmade mugs made by Vallejo Clay students and instructors. From everyday favorites to one-of-a-kind showpieces. Come early for the best picks.  Free admission.
 
1–1:30 PM — Mug Making Demonstration
How is a mug even made? Watch the magic happen as we walk through the process of creating a mug from start to finish. Limited seating, ticketed people get priority.
 
2–3:30 PM — Mug Making Workshop
You can make your own new favorite mug with guidance from our instructors. Grab a friend and let's mug out together!
 
3:45 PM — Mug Beauty Contest — Winners Announced
Which mug has the best shape? The best handle? The best surface design? Which mug is the most *extra* and which is most likely to be fought over in your home? Our clay community will decide and the winners will be given away in our mug raffle.

Please note: This is a single date event. You will receive a confirmation email for your purchase but we we are unable to send out reminders before the event. Please mark your calendar when you book this class so you don’t miss it. We can not offer refunds or rescheduling for last minute cancelations or no shows.
 
Refund and cancellation policy: There are no refunds. If you are unable to make it to any of the events, you are welcome to gift your ticket to someone else. There is no rescheduling for no-shows.
