Service Description
Second Fridays, 1 hour sessions, 5-8 PM What can you do with a ball of clay? A lot actually! This pottery class provides an opportunity to turn off the noise and be immersed in a creative and engaging activity, awaken your mind to new ideas and enjoy some art therapy. This is self-directed studio time where we provide suggested projects and printed instructions for you to follow, or use this time creatively to make something you've been dreaming about. An instructor will be on hand to help guide you and give you tips on how to complete your project should you need it. We also encourage students to let their hands roam without any set goal in mind. We will provide pottery tools for you to use, including molds, stamps, texture mats, tools, and more. Experiment with texture, sink your hands into the healing clay, and refresh your mind. Want your clay creation glazed and fired? No problem. Leave your project with us and it will be glazed and fired for you, ready to pick up in a couple of weeks. Pottery making with us is open to all skill levels. Class open to people 12 years and up.
