Handbuilding with Textured Slabs is an 4 session course designed to give students a chance to dive into the world of textured pots by creating their own one-of-a-kind clay stamps and using them to create beautifully functional mugs, cups, bowls, vases, and other useful objects. Stuents will not only learn how to create repeat pattern  texture that is a reflection of their personal style and aesthteics, but refine and strengthen their approach to building objects with slabs.

All the clay needed for creating stamps and prepped slabs will be provided for each student. Students will also have access to a slab roller, banding wheels, and some specialized tools. Students have access to the studio during Open Studio hours for self-guided practice time.
